ADHD symptoms and your mental health
Life as an ADHDer can feel like persisting in a world not built for you. Society has taught you that there's something wrong with your neurodivergence.
Maybe you got that message from teachers when school became too overwhelming and you couldn't find new coping skills. Or you've had a boss treat you unfairly because your work schedule and style looked different than your coworkers.
Now, you feel out of control of your life, like you just can’t keep up. You put in longer hours at your job or on housework, you miss appointments that were on 3 separate calendars, and you’re always tired. Even in close relationships with partners, families, and friends, you’ve been frustrated and misunderstood.
Across a lifetime, it’s no wonder you feel stressed, exhausted, isolated, anxious, depressed - you name it!
Who we serve: ADHD therapy in Seattle
Rather than battling with your ADHD, what if you could hone in on your strengths and add skills to support you with your goals?
I work with teen and adult ADHDers and people who suspect they might be neurodivergent. This includes late-diagnosis ADHD and people with underrepresented symptoms of ADHD. You can expect a warm, playful, and honest therapy environment as we learn about how to make your ADHD work for you.
