Frequently asked questions
Are you accepting new clients?
Yes! I am currently seeing all clients online via telehealth. I have found that most of my clients prefer online sessions, but should this change, seeing clients in-person in Seattle could be a possibility in the future.
Do you take insurance?
I am not currently in-network with any insurance companies, but I can send you statements for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. I have experience in this process and can help with any questions you might have!
What are your fees?
I charge $165 for 50-minute sessions and $215 for 80-minute sessions. Generally, individuals only require 50 minutes, whereas couples and families may need 80 minutes depending on the complexity of the issues and the number of people attending therapy.
Do you offer reduced fees?
I maintain a limited number of reduced-fee slots through Open Path. The availability of those slots should be up to date on my Open Path profile page.
If I am not available, please feel free to use Open Path to search for other reduced-fee clinicians. Another low-fee resource is the Antioch University Community Counseling Clinic.
How long does therapy take?
Unfortunately, there is no cut-and-dry answer to this question. The length of therapy can vary based on so many factors. If you are new to therapy, I typically recommend starting out with weekly sessions. We will continue to reassess the cadence and check in on how you think the therapy process is going.
